Waitman Wade Beorn, Phd

Chris Gist
GIS Specialist, Developer
Chris is a GIS Specialist with the University of Virginia Library where he builds spatial data collections, teaches GIS courses, and provides GIS user support. His research work includes various demographic, neighborhood indicator, and funding analysis projects in and around Richmond and various environmental science and humanities GIS projects. Chris is a certified GIS professional (GISP).

Research Assistant
Matthew is a third-year student at the University of Virginia studying public policy in the Batten School and pursuing a Distinguished Major in History. Currently, he is an undergraduate research assistant with Prof. Waitman Beorn, studying the Holocaust in western Ukraine.
